In 1983, two childhood friends embarked on a journey to create a culinary wares company that celebrated the nurturing of family and friends with good food and the universality of cooking. Their happiest memories were those of family and friends coming together and enjoying a great meal. They learned to love all aspects of food preparation, cooking, serving and entertaining.

Decades ago TTU broke with all the rules and introduced hand painted dinnerware and serveware to the mass market at prices affordable to all. Since then our well known dinnerware brands such as Tabletops Gallery, Espana, Corsica, and Avellino have become an industry leader in casual dining and entertaining. In 2006 TTU launched its Bone China brand STUDIO TU® and once again broke with status quo and made what once was formal and out of reach for many people affordable and suitable for today's casual life style. Studio TU® bone china is designed to bring bone china to the casual dining table; high quality bone china at everyday prices for everyday use.
Today TTU specializes in Bone China dinnerware and serveware, porcelain bakeware, porcelain buffet ware, porcelain dinnerware, porcelain serveware, hand painted serveware, hand painted Ceramic Dinnerware and serveware, hand painted stoneware and serveware, melamine dinnerware and serveware, and enameled dinnerware and serveware as well as specialty items such as drink dispensers and storage canisters. We carry a very broad collection of basic white dinnerware, white bakeware, oven to table bakers and items such as ramekins, French onion soup bowls and crème Brule dishes. All designs are done in Los Angeles California and meticulously followed through by our team of highly trained artisans in our overseas facilities.
TTU has several national cookware brands among them Denmark tools for cooks® and Basic Essentials® that are sold nationally and internationally. TTU specializes in manufacturing non-stick aluminum cookware, stainless steel cookware, non-stick steel cookware and cast iron cookware. TTU was named by the independent research firm NPD group as the leading castiron resource in the country for cookware. In 2009 we were awarded the prestigious trade award from HFN for innovative cast iron product of the year for our Cast iron light® collection sold under the Denmark tools for cooks® Brand.
TTU carries coordinated kitchen prep, cookware, bakeware, dinnerware and serveware products for those customers that are particularly interested in coordinating their kitchen and dining styles.
